Penzance Helicopters Increases Availability this Summer

Amidst the busy season for travel, Penzance Helicopters are pleased to advise that from 22nd July, they will be introducing a larger helicopter (operated by Starspeed) on the service due to a strong demand to travel in the UK this summer. With 16-seats, this interim helicopter will meet the increased demand for travellers holidaying on the Isles of Scilly this year due to COVID-19 travel restrictions and uncertainty surrounding overseas travel.

The benefit of introducing a larger helicopter is that there is now more capacity and availability for flights in July and August, increasing our summer schedule.

This interim solution will operate on the service pending the arrival of an AW139 helicopter that has been delayed due to export restrictions and lockdown control measures linked to Coronavirus.
